Bar Allioli lies in the station part of the small Andalucía village of Jimera de Libar, not quite, but nearly one of the smallest municipalities in Malaga province. The village lies along the famous Scenic railway that runs from Algeciras to Ronda and several trains stop there every day.
Situated in a valley it is surrounded by some of the best scenery on offer in Andalucía, a perfect area for hiking and biking or just taking a stroll along the river Guadiaro, which boasts water, all year around. From San Roque the train journey is about an hour and passes through the Vulture Canyon Buitreras. Driving up from Manilva is again just one hour via Gaucin. The train from San Roque leaves at 12.01 h and gets you back at 20.3 h.
